The First Paintball Park Commercial EVER!

Lights. Camera. ACTION! Hollywood Sports Park spreads to new regions of Southern California with their new commercial, -already in regular broadcast circulation through the airwaves. The day was like being in the back lot of a film studio, with props being moved around, grip equipment being organized, camera & lighting being worked on, people dressed in costumes, the make-up girl panicking searching for the movie stars, and the director lost in his thoughts off in a corner as he pulls the few remaining hairs off his head, -all while trying to explain his idea to the cinematographer. O.K., perhaps this depiction of a film production is exaggerated, but hey, -it's Hollywood!

Anyway, the object of conversation is that neither paintball parks nor paintball companies ever advertise through mainstream sources. It was not until recently, within the past seven months, that paintball has been shaken by exposure through television shows, radio, films, and even commercials on the Super Bowl. Hollywood Sports Park has produced its own commercial. –The First Paintball Park to ever produce a commercial! This is definitely a first for the paintball industry. The music was strung by TiLo, -the man who sings alongside Tommy Lee, and the man who is often accredited for the breakup of Motley Crue. The tailored song will be on TiLo's soon to be released record later this year. He brought out SlipKnot to help and do the song alongside him. When the song is framed within the context of paintball, it captures the experience of a game through deep trembles that are reminiscent of your first game, as you walk through the solid dirt packed on to the grounds of your favorite paintball field. Gripping your marker, and hearing the eruption of a fiery storm of paint, the song picks up, and the Hollywood Sports Park commercial takes off in to a frenzy of spliced edits. The commercial, complimented by TiLo's music, captures paintball by associating the commercial's style with paintball's attitude and humor. It's gritty; it's crazy, and fun!

Hollywood Sports Park is notorious throughout the industry for helping the sport of paintball reach mainstream status. Paintball is the third largest action-sports in the world, trailing right behind skate and BMX. Should paintball trail behind any other action-sports? –NO! This is why the industry, not just players and athletes, but so do industry tycoons, companies, and event promoters, -everyone! Needs to pull together to help the sport excel and gain new players. This is your call to adventure! Paintball is ten million strong. There are really only two ways to acquire new players, 1) word of mouth to your friends, and 2) mainstream sources that reach a mass audience such as television, radio, film and print. Players and participants of the sports should focus on the word of mouth campaign, while company tycoons should focus on the acquisitions of exposure through mainstream sources. Although the message may be rhetoric, it is up to the paintball community to pull paintball out of 3rd place, and in to 1st. Let's build, and build, until our sport becomes a towering skyscraper, and not a mid-sized building whose sole purpose is to make the tallest building in the city appear even grander.
