This may come as a surprise to many to see so many small communities impacted by Gun violence in their schools. This is something many of you may think should be reserved for communities like Los Angeles or Detroit. However, a large percentage of incidents of school gun violence in the 1990s occurred in small communities and mostly at the hands of students or employees. Recent incidents on Guam involving guns at our schools compelled a bi-partisan effort to file bill 282, "The Guam Gun-Free School Act of 2004" |
